Who is couples therapy suitable for?
Couples therapy is suitable for all couples, regardless of their starting point. You can seek help to resolve acute problems, repair the relationship after conflicts, or to prevent issues and strengthen an already healthy relationship.
Our psychologists often help with common challenges such as:
💭 Unhelpful relational patterns
💭 Attachment challenges
💭 Communication difficulties
💭 Jealousy and breaches of trust
💭 Sexual problems and lack of intimacy
💭 Role conflicts in everyday life

What a typical course looks like
Therapy starts with understanding your current dynamic and moves through structured phases to build lasting, healthy habits:
Phase 1: Assessment and Goals (1–2 sessions) We get to know you and the challenges you are facing. Together, we identify the patterns that create distance and set concrete goals for what you want to achieve.
Phase 2: Active Work and New Tools (3–6 sessions) We focus on communication, emotional regulation, and everyday behavior. You will receive practical exercises to try out at home between sessions.
Phase 3: Evaluation and Consolidation (1–2 sessions) We summarize your progress, reinforce new habits, and create a plan to help you maintain a healthy relationship on your own.
How does couples therapy work in practice?
Therapy begins with a meeting with one of our psychologists. Together, we map out the issues before helping you explore and understand the situation from both perspectives.
Continuity drives lasting change:
Good relational habits require time and regular practice. Therapy works best when consultations take place at steady intervals—typically every 1 to 2 weeks at the start. Between sessions, you will work with practical tools and assignments in your daily life, ensuring that what you learn in therapy translates into lasting changes at home.
Following the first session, the psychologist will provide a professional recommendation for the length and frequency of your process, giving you clear predictability moving forward.
What does couples therapy cost and how long is a session?
You can choose between 45-minute or 75-minute sessions. For new couples, we generally recommend that the first session lasts 75 minutes, so that there is enough time to thoroughly assess your situation.
