Parental guidance with a psychologist or psychiatrist
A safe upbringing and stable, caring adults are essential for children’s development and mental health. As a parent, you may encounter different challenges, and it can be helpful to receive support in gaining new perspectives and finding constructive ways to handle them. Dr.Dropin offers targeted guidance to help parents feel confident and supported in their role as caring and dependable caregivers for their children.

How does parental guidance work with us?
- Who participates in the session? The session takes place with one or both parents present, without the child.
- When is it appropriate? This service is ideal when the child is too young to benefit from conversations themselves, or when the measures (interventions) should primarily be directed toward the adults rather than the child.
- Course and duration: The length of the guidance process is tailored to your specific needs. For some, a couple of focused sessions are enough to receive advice and tools for a specific challenge, while others may benefit from support over a longer period.
- Format: You can choose between a video consultation or an in-person appointment at the clinic.
