So is the right to health care - regardless of who you love, or who you are. But pride for us is about more than just celebrating love, inclusion and diversity – it's also about increasing our knowledge of LGBTQ+, working towards delivering inclusive healthcare and having a workplace that embraces everyone.
This is a continuous work that we work on internally in our organization - but which we want to direct an extra focus on this month🌈
Why is pride important to us?
Empathy, integrity and diversity are key words that permeate Dr.Dropin as a business. For us, it is important to meet everyone with openness and understanding, no matter who you are. This applies both to our healthcare personnel and therapists when meeting patients, but also to how employees meet each other internally in our company.
No matter who you are and who you love, you are always welcome with us.
Despite significant progress in the recognition of queer rights, a number of challenges still remain. Queer people still experience hate crime, harassment and violence on the basis of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Many also experience discrimination in, among other things, working life, and when dealing with the healthcare system.
Dr.Dropin wants to make a difference here.
Dr. Dropin's pride campaign 2023
Dr.Dropin is a provider of healthcare services across professions. For us, it is important that no matter who the patient meets, they are met with openness, respect and understanding. In this year's campaign, we have two messages:

Talk about it.
In the wake of the attack during last year's pride celebration, many people feel insecure. The consequences of this, on the other hand, may have led to a strengthened unity, and a reminder that love is stronger than the hat.
But the possibilities are a month with a focus on love, freedom and diversity, and it is also allowed to feel the difficult feelings. It may be important to share these with others.
Come as you are.
Many experience being discriminated against on the basis of gender identity or orientation. With us, you should not be afraid of being met with prejudice or a lack of respect. Our doctors treat diseases differently, not people.
You can feel safe when you seek medical attention from us.
A workplace that embraces everyone
Dr. Dropin aims to be Norway's best workplace for healthcare personnel. We want to create unity and open up cooperation and knowledge sharing across professions, through our interdisciplinary clinics.
To ensure diversity and avoid discrimination, we recruit all our doctors, therapists and therapists anonymously, and focus on ensuring that everyone feels safe with us, regardless of gender or identity. At the same time, we offer courses to our employees on how to receive patients from different backgrounds, and also share knowledge related to queer rights and the LGBTQ community internally in our network.
