Course of treatment

Our advanced lasers can be used to solve various skin problems. It varies how many treatments that are needed, but to achieve the desired result, most people will need between 1-4 treatments, with approx. 3-4 weeks between each treatment. This is because the skin should have time to heal before you repeat the treatment.

Before treatment

To get the best results from the laser treatment, it is best not to have tanned skin. You should therefore avoid the sun and any self-tanning cream on the area to be treated in the last 4-6 weeks before the treatment. If you are pregnant, you cannot have laser treatment.

During treatment

Before the treatment, we clean your skin and apply a gel that makes it easier for the laser to penetrate the skin. In addition, both you and the therapist will wear glasses that protect your eyes from the bright light. When the laser treatment starts, it may feel a little warm - but it is completely safe and nothing to worry about.

After treatment

After the treatment, the skin may feel warm and become slightly red. To dampen the reaction, you will have a soothing cream applied, and the skin will be cooled with an ice pack for 15-20 minutes. We recommend daily use of sun factor 50 to protect the skin after the treatment and for the best possible result. You should avoid direct sun exposure of the treated area for the following four weeks. If you have been treated for burst blood vessels, the coagulation of the broken vessels could cause some discoloration of the skin.
